This new project aims to help Welsh learners to find friends who speak Welsh. Hywel Gwynfryn's original idea is now being developed in partnership with the six Welsh for Adults Centres across Wales, and the online course SaySomethinginWelsh.com. Welsh speakers and learners can register through www.ffrinDiaith.org and connect with each other to arrange regular informal sessions - in a cafe, community hall or down the pub!

FfrinDiaith.org will bring together local Welsh speakers and learners by showing users how close they are to each other - but it will also help people make connections worldwide through video conferencing, and people of Australia and America is ready registered on the website.

A Welsh speakers who are willing to help learners become part of their community, or Welsh learners who want the opportunity to use their Welsh informally with a friend, sign up www.ffrinDiaith.org is free. Advice and guidance is also available in order to maximize the connections made through ffrinDiaith.
